Tunku Danny had more than 15 years of financial services experience before he founded microLEAP, a Shariah Compliant & Conventional Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Financing platform in 2019. microLEAP is a proudly Malaysian fintech company that allows MSMEs to access crowd-sourced funds for working capital and is regulated by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).
Tunku Danny was voted Fintech Frontier Emerging 35, one of the Top 50 Fintech Founders in Southeast Asia in 2025 by the Fintech News Network.
Tunku Danny is also a Founding Member of iConnect – Fintech in Islamic Finance, a group made up of industry players, regulators and researchers tasked with the mission of making Malaysia a global Islamic fintech hub.
