Prior to rejoining Silverlake, he served as Head of Islamic Banking and Regional Pre-Sales Director at Sunline, where he led Islamic banking initiatives and supported strategic engagements across regional and international markets. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade with Silverlake, leading multiple initiatives across Islamic Banking and the Digital Economy.
Fahmi has worked extensively with financial institutions across Asia, the Middle East and other international markets on Islamic banking transformation, product and solution strategy, Shariah-compliant banking propositions and technology modernisation. Beyond his formal roles, his advice and perspectives are regularly sought internationally by financial institutions, technology providers, industry platforms and professional communities on Islamic banking strategy, transformation and the application of emerging technologies in financial services.
