Ekaterina Belousova

Ekaterina Belousova is the Senior Managing Director of the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX). She is responsible for the international cooperation of the Exchange with international exchanges and exchange associations. She leads the team that strengthens interaction and creates mutually beneficial ties with commodities and futures exchanges from various countries. Mrs. Belousova is the head of a large-scale and important project for SPIMEX aimed at the infrastructure openness of on-exchange and OTC trading for foreign participants and brokers.

Prior to joining SPIMEX in December 2023, Ekaterina Belousova had a diverse experience of over 30 years in the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS), a governmental authority that carries out functions related to control over antimonopoly legislation, legislation in the field of natural monopolies’ activities, state regulation of prices (tariffs) for goods (services), advertising, and more. During her service, she occupied the position of Deputy Head of the Department for International Relations and was in charge of cooperating with international organizations and foreign authorities in spheres related to the competence of the Authority, contributing to the integration of the Russian economy into the global economic area.
