Dr. Nurhastuty Wardhani

Nurhastuty Kesumo Wardhani, PhD is an academic, researcher, and practitioner specializing in Islamic Finance, Corporate Governance, and Green Accounting. She serves as the Secretary of the Master of Accounting Program and Senior Lecturer at Universitas Trisakti, Indonesia, as well as an Associate Researcher at CSED-INDEF (Institute for Development of Economics and Finance).

Her international experience includes serving as a Board Member at the Institute of Halal Investing (Oregon, USA), Country Coordinator for Indonesia in the Global Pitching Research Competition, and a former Tutorial Fellow at the University of Queensland, Australia. She is also an active speaker and visiting lecturer at global institutions, including Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and Seoul National University (South Korea).

A prolific author and scholar, Dr. Nurhastuty has published extensive research in peer-reviewed international journals and authored several books, including Think Strategy, The Power of Dreams and Discovering Knowledge and Islamic Financial Planning. Her core research focuses on dual banking systems, Shariah governance, carbon emission disclosures, and sustainability accounting.
