Tunku Danny Nasaifuddin Mudzaffar

Tunku Danny Nasaifuddin Mudzaffar is an accomplished finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. With an MBA in Financial Studies from Nottingham University Business School, he began his career at Hwang-DBS Securities and later held senior roles at two major international banks—Standard Chartered Bank and BNP Paribas—in both London and Kuala Lumpur. His love of technology and his extensive banking experience has laid the foundation for Tunku Danny to be a key figure in Malaysia’s fintech ecosystem.

In 2019, leveraging his financing background, Tunku Danny founded microLEAP, Malaysia's first dual Islamic and Conventional Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Financing platform. His vision was to provide accessible financing to businesses, particularly MSMEs, while also offering investors an opportunity to participate in ethical and impactful investments. Under his leadership, microLEAP has helped democratise the investment landscape in Malaysia and supported over 450 businesses with nearly RM200 million disbursed.
