    He is currently an Advisor with the government of Oman and has been with the Capital Market Authority (CMA) for the last 10 years which regulates and develops the financial industry in Oman relating to the capital market and insurance sector (both conventional and Islamic). His appointment is by the Oman Minister of Finance and Executive President.

    He has been leading the strategic development of the Islamic capital market in Oman from the very beginning for the last 10 years since the introduction of Islamic banking and finance in Oman in 2013 and had led the issuance of the new Sukuk regulatory framework then.
